LAS VEGAS — Jonny "The Sluggernaut" Parsons became the sixth Iridium Sports Agency client to earn a UFC contract this season on Contender Series.
Jonny, 30, climbed to 8-2 with a fifth straight victory over Solomon Renfro in their welterweight division Main Event bout Tuesday in Las Vegas.
"The Sluggernaut" follows in the path of fellow Team Iridium fighters AJ Dobson, Michael Morales, Chidi Njokuani, Josh Quinlan and Genaro Valdez, who have all earned UFC contracts this year on Contender Series.
